(A Man For All Seasons)
A delightful portrayal of Sir Thomas More. Directed by Fred Zinnemann.
(High Noon, From Here to Eternity) Honored for six academy awards.
Its noted for its conservatism concerning Sir Thomas More's
relationship with King Henry III, opposing the king on his divorce with
Katherine of Aragon . Certainly, Sir Thomas More was a magnificent
person who died a martyr and has been canonized a saint.
I did not notice anything about this film fall outside of conservative
values.
A Man For All Seasons is very interesting to me but for some it
probably won't, so let me know what you think on the form below.
