In this biopic, Jim Caviezel portrays Bobby Jones, the legendary
golfer who received the title of Grand Slam Champion by winning the
British Amateur, the British Open, the U.S. Open and the U.S. Amateur
in just one year -- 1930. After defeating an illness in his youth,
Jones went on to become a record-breaking champion at just 28 years
old. Also an accomplished scholar, Jones obtained two college degrees
and graduated from law school.
Bobby Jones (Jim Caviezel), was
the first amateur to win the British Amateur, the British Open, the U.S
Open and the U.S. Amateur; all major golf championships. When he
retired to build Augusta National Golf Club and started The Masters.
