Hunt for Red October stars Alec Baldwin a CIA analyst Jack Ryan and Sean Connery as Soviet submarine commander Marko Ramius. The Red October -- a Soviet nuclear submarine headed toward American waters -- abruptly drops off U.S. scanners. But as the US Intelligence scrambles to take defensive steps, CIA analyst Jack Ryan is convinced that the submarine's renegade commander has something other than a first strike in mind and has to prove his theory is accurate.
