Independence Day (1996)

In Independence Day, a group of humans attempt to save the earth from total destruction by aliens and a giant spacecraft. Scientist played by Jeff Goldblum, and jet pilot (Will Smith) are forced to fight against the extraterrestrials, while the President of the United States (Bill Pullman) urges his citizens to fight back. Some critics object to the the film's lack of originality, but the combination of grand visual spectacle is sure to please every crowd.



PROFANITY & VULGARITY: 6 -ACCEPTABLE (use of foul language and mild obscenities)


SEX, NUDITY (MORAL): 4 -SOME (kissing, sensual dance at strip joint, semi-nudity)


VIOLENCE: 3 -VERY (Aliens, destruction, fire, chaos, end of the world)
