Marley and Me

This movie does a very good job of promoting traditional family values. Here are some quotes that prove this point:
Jen on being a full time mom, "If I have to give up something ... it's not this."
John on marriage, "Mend it, don't end it."
These quotes among others definitely reflect positive values. However, from previews, it would appear as if this was a family comedy about a dog. The dog is more of a background to the main story about the Grogan family. It should be noted that the themes of marriage presented in this movie are somewhat adult in nature. There are three sex scenes, but these scenes are between John and Jen who are married and trying to have kids, which makes the scenes less offensive.
