The Godfather trilogy can hardly be called a conservative series of movies; an epic (very well done, I might add) of killing, betrayal and total disrespect for the sovereignty of the United States cannot be a good thing. The movie is basically the story of and legacy of a family's love affair with money and power, that to me better describes liberalism than anything else. The Godfather Trilogy, however, is a classic in American film making; fun, intriguing and captivating. Not to mention all the awards it has received.
