The Last of the Mohicans

The Last of the Mohicans tells the story European-born adopted son of Mohican scout Chingachgook, Hawkeye (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his adopted brother who join a group of British soldiers in an effort to defeat the French, their allied Indian tribe, win control of the territories, and to defend the British Army. The lovely daughter of a British officer (Madeleine Stowe) captures Hawkeye's heart as he continues to fight for the land in the name of his people.
